About Us

Nextart is a contemporary art gallery with a transboundary approach, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Sara Arvidsson is an art historian with a MA in curating at Stockholm University. Sara has written art criticism and other forms of articles for various publications.

Stefan Karlsson is an artist and a curator. He started Sub Bau Gallery in the 80′s, which was a platform for various art projects. As an artist he’s been exhibiting internationally and is represented at Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm and Gothenburg Art Museum.
